New Faces and Myeloma Update

I have been busy creating new faces before I go into hospital next week for chemo and a stem cell transplant. I will take a bag of mixed media goodies with me into hospital in case I feel like painting as art heals...

I also might have Carpal Tunnel Syndrome as my hands are numb and hurt at night but will have to look at this after I come out of hospital.

I will be in hospital for 2-3 weeks and will not be taking my laptop or writing any blogs until I'm out and feeling up to it. Take care....

    1. Thank you, yes, there is a process that the body goes through with the chemo that they want to look out for and keep me as safe as possible. xxx

  5. Thinking of you and wishing you the best, art helps to distract and soothe the soul - I hope your stay in hospital is not too difficult and that you have a lot of support around you.

  6. Hi, I hope things go well for you. I think of you often. I looked up Myeloma when you said you had it. You are in my thoughts and heart.

For your hands, maybe you should get those hand braces to wear at night. They help a lot. A bit costly but work well. The ones I use have steel plates in them to brave wrist and hand. Get the ones thar include thumb brace. They ate big and ugly but do help. Especially since you can't get to doc till after chemo. Hugs
