Shell's Sunday Snippets

My week in pics...

My latest painting I created at my Wednesday Workshop - I really like it - do you?

Or do you find it too simplistic?

Does the house need windows and doors?

Does the tree need some of my confetti tree dots?

Streetscape 3, Mixed Media with sewing patterns and acrylic paint. 60cm x 60cm.

Life Book Wk28 Inspiration Cards

Brewer's Tasting Plate for Two from the Feral Brewery for lunch on Friday.

Proteas

Chunky Pepper Steak Pie, baked potatoes for dinner cooked by my 20yo son.

I hurt my back yesterday lifting a too full wood basket - I really should have known better....so I'm not too sure what this week will look like...a few trips to the chiropractor I imagine - I have a great chiro but he's nearly an hour away....

Hope you are having a great weekend and join in with {tinniegirl} and play along with {sunday snippets} A collection of photos from your week. No need for words. Let the pictures tell your story.

  1. Love the bones in your painting! And your proteas! Didn't know you had those in Australia! Having enjoyed them from Mount Haleakala on Maui...Lovely! Do you dry them as well? Thanks for sharing; sure wish I could have a lovely lunch with you!

  4. Simple is good! A great balance of colour, negative and positive space with enough interest in the textures created. :))

  7. Awesome texture and shape balance. I looked back to see the confetti trees, they are lovely and cheerful.
I´d choose the Brewer´s selection too, looking good. :) I don´t usually know the names of the flowers, thanks for the info.
