Day 4 in Wales

20TH AUGUST 2018 ISLE OF ANGLESEY AND SNOWDONIA

We visited the Isle of Anglesey to see Beaumaris Castle which was built between 1295 - 1330 but never completed.
The views from Anglesey to the mainland were beautiful....

Then we headed to Snowdonia...

to Dolbadarn Castle which was built by the Welsh prince Llywelyn the Great during the early 13th century, at the base of the Llanberis Pass, was a round tower.

Nearby there were some standing stones....

After the castle we went on a steam train ride around part of the lake which gave us some 'good' views of a cloud covered Mount Snowdon.

We then headed to Caernafon and drove around the castle which was built in the 13th century but didn't go in as it was very busy...

Some old buildings in Bangor - I think the one on the right is the University.
